After a long and exhausting search for new premises we have finally found a new home. We are currently doing a lot of work on site so that we are hopefully up and running soon. Operating from the new premises would also allow customers to collect items from our new base in Brixton and once the works have completed we should have an up and running workshop that allows us to fabricate a range of different items, such as scenery flats, props, plinths and a lot more. More info on that soon.

The ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians) has announced the release of a new edition of the 'Technical Standards for Places of Entertainment (2013)' - better known among technicians as the 'Yellow Book'.

The book was edited by David Adams and published by the ABTT, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the District Surveyors Association and the Institute of Licensing. Though primarily intended for the use of authorities and licensees, it is a useful, if not even must read for anyone working  in the technical fields of the entertainment industry, as it '...sets out the physical standards for buildings, their equipment and the good management of the premises so as to provide for the safety of the performers, staff and the public in premises used for entertainment.'

It is available at the ABTT stand A53, at ExCeL London, from this Sunday 6 October, at a reduced rate, as well as online on the ABTT website here.

As we have been let down again with our new premises it is currently not possible to collect equipment in person. As a result we decided to offer free delivery within London on orders above £50. Offer will continue until we finally move.

We have finally gone live! The website is up and apart from a few little tweaks here and there this is basically it! We hope you find what you are looking for and if not why not give us a bell to see if we can help you find a solution?
